How to enable Outlook that is not Receiving Emails with large Attachments

Outlook is a service that is under the umbrella of Microsoft which comprises of Email configuration, and also includes calendar, task manager, contact manager, note taking.

The lucrative feature of Microsoft is it can be used as stand alone application and also works with Microsoft Exchange Server and Microsoft SharePoint Server. It can be used by multiple users in the organization.

Along with using it onto the operating systems, you can also use it on Android and apple devices.

But sometimes outlook may not respond as expected and following gives the troubleshoot methods of how to fix Outlook not receiving emails:

Check the junk folder​-

1. Log into Hotmail Account.

2. In the left pane, click on the Junk.

3. Look out if the missing mail is in the folder.

4. Check for any message that has been delivered to the Inbox.

5. Now, click on the checkbox which is on the left of each message.

6. Now, click on the Not junk button.

Check the blocked sender list:-

1. From the screen of Hotmail Options under Preventing junk email, click on Safe and blocked senders.

2. Click on Blocked Senders.

3. You need to select the name or domain in the Blocked Senders list.

4. Now, click on Remove from list.

You can also add the Email address to Safe Senders list:-

1. From the screens of Hotmail options which is under Preventing Junk email, click on Safe and blocked senders.

2. Now, click on Safe Senders under Safe and Blocked senders.

3. A text box appears, all you can do is type in the Email ID or domain that you want to receive Email from.

4. Now, click on Add to list>>

Check the Email Rules-

1. Go to Customizing Hotmails and from the Hotmail Options screens, click on Rules for Sorting New Message.

2. Go through one of the actions as per requirement: Click on Edit next to whatever that you want to edit. Or you can also select the rule that you need to delete. Click on Delete.

Check the Junk mail settings:-

1. Click on Option which is present at the upper right corner of the page.

2. Click on More Options.

3. Click on Filters and Reporting under Preventing Junk mail.

4. Choose the level of protection that you want under Choose a junk e -mail filter.

5. Now, click on Save.
